Supported by a grant from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts the Wachusett Business Incubator is providing free Business Planning Technical Assistance (BOTA) services to:

Individuals in need of business planning services who are entrepreneurs not yet in business and have a reasonable chance of success upon starting up a new business and others who own or operate existing businesses and wish to increase their capacity and revenue.

In-depth business planning services will be provided to our clients within the Wachusett region which includes, but is not limited to the following communities: Ashburnham, Ayer, Ashby, Athol, Barre, Clinton, Fitchburg, Gardner, Groton, Hardwick, Harvard, Hubbardston, Lancaster, Leominster, Lunenburg, Oakham, Orange, Pepperell, Petersham, Phillipston, Princeton, Royalston, Rutland, Shirley, Sterling, Townsend, Templeton, Westminster, and Winchendon.

Clients within reasonable proximity to the Wachusett region are welcome to receive services so long as the intended economic impact, of the startup or existing business, will provide a benefit to inhabitants and/or businesses in our region.

Clients will receive:

• Expedited business planning services by experienced professionals;

• Tuition payments for some business-related courses and training sessions offered at the institutions listed below provided that the coursework assists with the development of a new or scaling-up business and is not for employment with another firm (pre-approval by the WBI is required); and,

• Information and referral services to regional lending institutions, accountants, attorneys, other business service providers, and manufacturers.
